• Gregg Lancaster, the Director of the
Financial Stability Partnership at United Way:
• The opening of the tax site on January
15th is an exciting event. The tax site will focus
on families that are low to moderate income making
$36,000 or less.
• Individuals must bring in identification
and social security cards for all members of the
household. We also require W-2s and any 1099s
that you might have.
• The focus of this site is to help people
qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
• Dial 2-1-1 for an appointment
• On January 31st at the Center for Regional
Services there will be a press conference for
the kick off of the site.
• The United Way Financial Stability Partnership
Free Tax Site will be open Tuesday, January 15th-
Saturday April 9th. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings
from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1
p.m. United Way volunteers will be at the Center
for Regional Services to help hard working individuals
and their families to long term financial independence.

• The United Way and 2-1-1 Texas present
their FYI Educational Training Series beginning
January 30th – March 5th. Sessions will
be weekly from 9 a.m.- noon at the United Way
offices on Southwest Parkway. For information
