Day of Caring
The United Way Day of Caring is a one day event that brings local individuals together to help out our neighbors. United Way partners provide the jobs to be completed and local businesses and individuals form teams who VOLUNTEER to help complete the tasks during the day. Whether it's painting a room at Twin City Mission or mowing yards at clients'; houses, every person is needed and appreciated.
In 2008 the Day of Caring kicked off United Way's annual campaign with the announcement of our new campaign goal at the Day of Caring breakfast that morning. If you are interested in forming a Day of Caring team for this year or sponsoring the event in some way, please email us at uway@uwbv.org.
