United Way on Campus
United Way On Campus at Texas A&M University-College Station serves the local community in 3 ways:
- 1. Educating our members, other student organizations, and the Texas A&M student body about the United Way of Brazos Valley and its partner agencies.
- 2. Raising funds for community initiatives of the Brazos Valley.
- 3. Inviting guest speakers who embody our mission to attend meetings.
Our ultimate goal is to increase community involvement within the Texas A&M student body to help further develop the Brazos Valley area.
What is your vision for Fall 2010-Spring 2011?
We plan to act as a liaison between the Brazos Valley area and the Texas A&M student body by providing volunteer opportunities in the local community to students and on campus organizations.
How do you plan to accomplish your vision?
We plan to setup partnerships with local agencies such as the Brazos Valley Food Bank and Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley. Through these partnerships we will offer students and on campus organizations volunteer opportunities in the local community.
