Alison Prince | President and CEO

Alison has served as the President & CEO of United Way of the Brazos Valley since June 2014 after serving as the Interim Executive Director for six months.  Having worked with United Way since April 2008, Alison has built a deep understanding for multiple aspects of the organization's management.  She served from 2008 - 2011 as the Director of Information and Referral Services overseeing the 2-1-1 Texas program; then Alison spent two and a half years as the Vice President Community Impact where she led the 2013 Community Impact Grant application and award process, and the installation of the region's first bi-lingual Born Learning Trail at Brothers Pond Park. She received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University in 2004. In 2008, Alison completed a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Leadership Education from Texas A&M University with an additional certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Alison has been working with nonprofit organizations since 2006.

Peggi Goss, C.R.S. | Vice President Community Impact

Peggi joined the United Way of the Brazos Valley in January 2017 and is responsible for the overall direction of UWBV programs in addition to overseeing the community impact grant process.  In her previous positions she has managed teams in multi-site locations and has been responsible for strategic initiatives and projects.  She has been an ambassador for the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce since 2012 and had been a loaned executive for the United Way of the Brazos Valley for several years prior to accepting a position at UWBV.  Peggi’s priority in her current role is to connect individuals and organizations in the community with projects that advance the common good to make the most impact and then measure the results of those projects and programs.  Peggi graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Psychology and has had a career in the employee benefits, staffing and fitness industries.   She is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys hiking, swimming and horseback riding. Peggi Goss is a Certified Resource Specialist (C.R.S.) issued by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS).

Brenda Sieling | Director of Finance & Administration

Brenda became a member of the United Way family in February of 2010. She graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with bachelor’s degree in business accounting in 2009. Brenda oversees the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions at the United Way of the Brazos Valley. Brenda’s husband, John, has owned and operated a business in Bryan for over 25 years. The Sieling family consists of three children, six grandchildren, five dogs, three cats and counting. An avid golfer, Brenda was registered in the Hole-in-One Golf Society in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, fishing, cooking and working on various projects on the family’s farm just outside of Gauze.

Kat Gammon, C.R.S. | Outreach & Communications Manager

Katherine (Kat) joined the United Way of the Brazos Valley as an Information & Referral Specialist in July 2016, and assumed the role of Program and Resource Coordinator in December of that year. As the 2-1-1 Resource Manager, she managed the 2-1-1 Texas database, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program for the Brazos Valley region, and the United Way's Internship program. Now she works on marketing and improving communications about United Way of the Brazos Valley's impact to the community. Kat graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. She has been a member of the Bryan/College Station community since 2000, and is an A&M Consolidated High School Alumna. Kat has volunteered for her community in various ways, including serving on the Board of Directors for Pride Community Center from 2013 - 2015. Kat Gammon is a Certified Resource Specialist (C.R.S.) issued by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS).

Hilda Salazar, C.R.S. | 2-1-1 Program Manager

Hilda joined United Way in the midst of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 as an Information & Referral Specialist. Before moving into the 2-1-1 Program Manager role in 2016, she served as the Lead 2-1-1 Information & Referral Specialist. As 2-1-1 Program Manager, Hilda manages the day-to-day operations of the 2-1-1 Call Center including quality assurance, staff development, and evaluation of Call Center performance. She became a Certified I&R Specialist in 2010 and received the Distinguished Service Award from Texas Alliance of Information & Refrral Services (TAIRS) in 2013. Hilda enjoys spending time with her family including her three children and her grandaughter. She also enjoys watching softball. Hilda Salazar is a Certified Resource Specialist (C.R.S.) issued by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS).

Mickal Lewis, C.R.S. | Resource & Project Coordinator

Mickal Lewis joined the United Way of the Brazos Valley as an intern in February 2017, and was hired on part-time as an Information & Referral Specialist in May 2017. In November 2017, Mickal assumed a full-time position as an Information & Referral Specialist and in August 2018 was promoted to Resource & Project Coordinator. Mickal graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. As the 2-1-1 Resource & Project coordinator, she manages the 2-1-1 Texas database, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program for the Brazos Valley region and the United Way's Internship program. Mickal Lewis is a Certified Resource Specialist (C.R.S.) issued by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS).
