Ways to Give

Give in the way that works for you

UWBV works build a stronger Brazos Valley and ensure our community continues to thrive. By supporting the work of United Way through a financial gift, you help design the good that builds a stronger community.  But we believe giving shouldn't be difficult, so we have many ways you can make a gift to United Way.  It doesn't matter if the gift is $1 or $1,000, your gift makes you a part of the United Way movement.

You can give back in the following ways:

   By Phone: 979.696.4483

   By Mail:
     909 Southwest Parkway East
     College Station, TX 77840

Download a pledge form to mail with your gift.

   Text-to-Give: Text StrongerUnited to 41444.

We also accept the following types of gifts:

Credit card gifts: This is often the easiest way for people to give. Donate now online.

Check: Please make checks payable to United Way of the Brazos Valley and fill out a pledge form to provide us with information to process your gift. You may mail in your contribution or contact us to let us know you’ll be making a gift.

Stock gifts and planned giving: A planned gift may include gifts of stock, bonds, mutual funds or real estate given to UWBV either as an outright gift or a gift in a bequest, trust or gift annuity. This is a way to continue your investment in the long-term and create a legacy of helping build a stronger Brazos Valley. If you have appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) that you have owned for at least one year, you may want to consider contributing them as a gift to UWBV. If you’re interested in making a stock gift, please contact our office.

If you’d like to give in another way, please contact us.

Birthdays for United Way:

Launched just this year, Birthdays for United Way is an opportunity to instill in children that no matter how young, they too can create an impact in our community.  Instead of gifts, children collect cash donations at their birthday party.  Then the Birthday Child gets to come present their donations using a Big Check Presentation at a United Way Board Meeting.  We'll promote their contribution through our website and social media as well as have their name engraved on Birthdays for United Way plaque.  To learn more about Birthdays for United Way, contact Eleesha Blackwell at 979-696-4483 x118 or email birthday@uwbv.org.
