Why We Campaign
One individual or organization can’t solve our community’s issues alone, especially in these tough economic times. That’s why United Way of the Brazos Valley is so important. Working together, united, we can change lives. One way we can pull together to make an impact in the Brazos Valley is through our annual Community Campaign.
"Whether it’s lending a helping hand or rooting for your favorite Aggie team, the people of the Brazos Valley always work together. This year’s United Way Community Campaign is underway, and we’ll need everyone’s help to make it a success…Every gift matters, but what matters most is that you participate in helping our community be the best it can be for all of our citizens." -Gary Blair, Texas A&M women's head basketball coach.
What You Can Do
Be the change. You can volunteer, advocate and invest in our community by giving to the United Way. However you can give, we hope that we can work together to inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow.
Implement a Workplace Campaign
The United Way of the Brazos Valley asks your business or company to become part of the change by becoming a community business partner. Hosting a workplace campaign is a winning opportunity for everyone - employers, staff and community volunteers. Becoming a partner is as simple as getting a company commitment and appointing an Internal Coordinator in your workplace as part of the 2017 Community Campaign.
Become an Internal Coordinator
An internal coordinator serves as a liaison for the United Way Community Campaign within their workplace to bolster support to the United Way and our 20 partner agencies. To become an internal coordinator or learn more about the role view our Internal Coordinators Guide to a Great Campaign or contact Maggie Gray, Donor Relations Coordinator, at 979-696-4483 ext. 118 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make a Corporate Contribution
A corporate gift to United Way is an excellent way to show your employees and the community your commitment to the Brazos Valley. Many companies also match employee contributions to double the impact. We recognize our top corporate contributors at programs and in publications throughout the year. For more information on how your business can help the United Way of the Brazos Valley, please contact Maggie Gray, Donor Relations Coordinator, at 979-696-4483 ext. 118 or email@example.com.
Become a Corporate Sponsor
Partner with United Way of the Brazos Valley and invest in your community while reaching top community leaders, corporations, and families through ongoing joint promotional opportunities. In 2017, select businesses will have several opportunities to assist United Way of the Brazos Valley in our mission to bring the community together to find solutions that will change people’s lives.
